The bay was amazing last
night. Only one other boat with us,
lightning in the distance over the hill, and a sunset which is now my favorite
one for the whole trip. When I say that
I had difficulty choosing which pictures to include in this post, you can see
why. The ones not included are just as
spectacular.
And the houses overlooking
the bay are amazing. The blue and white
one is an AirBnB. https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/5059109
This one is my favorite
though.
Today the bay is considerably more popular. Six catamarans and a monohull enjoying the quiet waters. Steve is thinking about snorkeling, if he can get up the energy. It is quite gusty, even with the flat water.

ReplyDeleteAppears my favorite is also a rental.
Beautiful spot. Looks like a quiet version of Cane Garden Bay. Do you get any breeze in there or is it too protected for a breeze? Your notes are like a tour guide of off-the-beaten-path stops for our next visit ... should significantly reduce the mooring budget! Keep having fun and reporting in for us workin' stiffs!
ReplyDeleteActually, really nice breezes the past two nights. Water totally flat this morning. Talked with a woman on the beach yesterday who rents the pretty house every year. She says she has never seen so many boats anchored here.
ReplyDeleteSteve does say that there may be rougher weather in Brewers Bay in January so it might not be a good anchorage that time of year. And last night the sunset was "meh." So glad for the first night extravaganza.
